"The USA Patriot Act and other actions that expanded the powers of the executive branch in matters of national security are necessary to protect the citizens of the United States from foreign and domestic threats."

I agree with this statement because even though it violents some rights in the end it is just to keep us safe. The only people who could be extremely negitively effected are terriorists, the average persons information they find on you is not used against them. In the end it is just to make our counrty a better safer place.

it is to keep us safe. but it invades are privacy too much i think.

i agree with you, we should worry about the government violating our right because its for the overall safety of america. they arent going to bother you if you arent doing anything wrong.
