Patriot Act

I feel as if even before George W. Bush Jr. put in effect that everything we do from phones calls and computers would be monitored to keep us safe that we were still watched by the government. I think in this case that we would just be looked after more.

I have no problem if the government wants to keep us safe and the only way is monitoring us, but the only thing I worry about is where does the information go once you recieve it. Our freedom has some sacrifice we have to offer up for it to work, but if we want to keep America from having an event like 9/11 happen it is worth it.

If you have nothing to hide then why worry? Just saying.

I totally agree, if your not doing anything wrong then why make a big deal for about it? The Patriot Act has good intentions.

Yup, people are just panicing for no reason to be honest. As long as it's for good intentions then I am perfectly fine. Now, if the government just put the act in place just to do it then I would have a problem with it.

Jesse I completely agree with you. We werent protected before 9/11 and were caught by surprise.id rather have an act in effect than be caught unprepared again and lose someone close to me or worse, lose my own life.
