Hello Ryan,

I would have to agree with it but there has to be some limitations to ensure that we are going to recieve that privacy back.

see, i wouldn't want my information being passed around different government agencies, have it be possibly leaked and then publicized. What if you were a big sports star and the government accidentally leaked info that you were a drug addict?

nothing right now. in the future, though, i wouldn't want the business i'm working for to find out about some night spent in jail due to some weird scenario. i'd probably lose my job and my reputation.

Their not looking for that kind of information though. Their looking for leads about terrorist activity. Any information they have besides that wont get leaked out. If something could get leaked out that easily then whats stopping them from accidently leaking out terrorist evidence? Their not they keep it under wraps until they catch the persons involved.

There's always a chance though. And yeah, Brandon you're right about private companies, but I personally don't think that the government should be sharing my information with other agencies. Zack, how else did Kwame's information get leaked? His data was tapped and the info leaked. I'm not sure if it was a private company or if it was a gov't. agency, still that doesn't sit well with me.

him getting caught had nothing to do with the government. they werent going through information saw his name and were like oh lets go ** with this guy. No they want whats best for the government and also yeah they could ahave leaked it but that's only because he is part of the government and if someone part of the government local state or national, they want the best people possible and if they have information that shows someone isnt suited for the job then they would only release it to show that to the people so they can vote someone more suited for the job into power.

Releasing the information on the money scandal was right, but the texting scandal wasn't anyone's business other than his, Mrs. Kilpatrick, and his mistress. Personal information shouldn't be shared. Money and suspicious activity should be especially if your a public official. However, whatever you do on your own with your computer or cell phone on a non-business issue should not be investigated.
