Yes, absolutly. They should do anything and everything that they can to get any information that they need. If we act like litter girls and just slap them around and make them stand in a corner with 1 arm up. That will acomplish nothing... Idc if you have to cut off fingers. Anything to protect the U.S.A (In other countries they do way more things than we do, so us not acting in this way makes us look weak).
I don't neccesarily agree with how you put this but i agree with the overall concept.
If it saves even one life, then it should be done, what if that one person was someone in your family and if the u.s.a took these examples to get information to save that family member then you would be happy, but if they didnt and that individual died i think you would start o agree with this statement.
Okay, what if it was you or one of your family memebers and they REALLY didnt do anything. Now your a muderer and have still gotten no where.
