I don't agree with what the US Patriot Act i think it was partially a way to stop terrorists but it was mainly a way for the US government to spy on its own people. The act also makes it so the government doesn't have to ask the court for a warrant all they have to do is write a national security letter and this just takes the court out of the equation giving the government even more power.

The government is very corrupt in my opinion but i think they are more worried about the terrorist coming after them instead of us (the american people).

You shouldn't be afraid unless you are doing something wrong and you don't want the government to see it. They are only looking to see if there are terrorist connections in the US, not just so they can look a random people's personal information. The patriot act was put in place to save lives, not snoop through your life.

I completely agree with you. The act gives the government soo much power and makes them too big.
