PATRIOT ACT

I agree and disagree with that statement, I think we need the security that is being given to protect us from foreign threats. You never want to not have enough security to where citizens are scared to do normal things. Then again on the other side you don't want to have too much security that is obvious and people are scared that way too. Its like its better to be safe than sorry. Then again it could go the other way also with what is too much security versus enough ? I think this could end up escalading to get out of control to where it will interfere with normal life. I would hope it doesn't because that scared me but you never know. It is also already scary how much the government look into and it not being hard at all. Looking into everyones filed and documents can prove so much. As citizens it seems like our privacy is being taken away from us which isn't fair and I feel like it is against our rights.

I agree with you on the part where you said it seems like our privacy is being taken away from us because that is what it feels like, and it isnt fair and it is against our rights. I understand that the government only want citizens to "feel" safe but in reality are we ever really safe and is there such as a thing as feeling too safe up to the point where it is scary.

I agree with what Faith said about the need for protection in order for society to run as normally as possible.  If people are too afraid to do regular activities,  than I feel that the terrorists already one, since fear is one of the elements they want instilled in US citizens
