I disagree with this quote because no one deserves to be tortured like that. It doesn't help prevent the problem and it get's you no where.
i agree because they're citizens and are protected from torture.
what if they are terrorist and could harm the lives of millions of Americans?
They are not citizens, they are people coming to our country to harm us.
i still think they should interrogate intensely though (not as intense as this quote) but if interrogating one person will save thousands of lives, isn't it worth it?
