I do not agree with this statement what so ever, this act is not necessary or needed in anyway. This act goes above and beyond invading other persons personal privacy that they have a right to keep to them self's. it is not right to the cite zens. it its unfair and unconstitutional to go through ones personal privacy with out having reasonable suspicion. this act and the ways that they are taking care of things is just over all wrong every way to try and solve the problem so far is reading through peoples personal privacy, recording them on camera without them knowing, scanning their things on the Internet ETC. and as we see from the movie "Spying on the Home Front" no result comes out of this besides angry americans not agreeing what the government does and will no longer want to support the government in what they do.
I agree with Mike, privacy is important, but safety is definitely more of a concern. Looking through innocent people's data, to find things that stand out as terrorism acts, does not affect the innocent people. Anything that could bring them closer to catching a terrorist is a good thing.
I agree with most of the things but i think its okay to give up a little freedom to save lives in america.
eye think u may b dum ty yea spell chek tht
Go look up your facts the system has saved lives and caught terrorists. HA
I agree with Molly, the patriot act is a litle invasive, but it does keep us safe and its worth the trade off in my opinion.
I agree with Molly, there's definitely a purpose. The Gov. wouldn't spend time carfully going trough tons of files, if there wasn't a purpose. The purpose is to do anything they can to catch a lead and keep us safe.
