I believe that the American Recovery and reinvestment Act is give hope to the U.S from our government during this economic recession. The true intentions behind passing the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act may be hidden right now but in the near future they will become known. The Act is mainly is to mainly help the U.S to become less dependent on foreign fuels. To achieve this Act is putting large amounts of money into the development of clean-energy to make the country as a whole healthier and more efficient.

From Obama's point of view, this act will benefit us and this Act are primarily long term, and he knew this when he began his fight to get it passed. He is looking at the big picture and knows that this Act will help America progress with clean fuel and different sources of energy. He also believes that the $787 the U.S spent will be regained in the future with profits.

Republicans see this as a waste of money spent by Obama and he is steadily over spending money increasing our deficit

I see this bill as an opportunity to better our country. I believe the bill will make up all of the money that was spent with interest. It may seem like a waste of money to some people but I think it will payout in the future

Grade: 8/9  Good, but don't forget that the stimulus bill's primary purpose is to stimulate the economy.
