The Freedom Shrine is located next to Mr. Lurie’s classroom and it contains 28 primary documents of critical importance to United States history and/or government. You will see that these documents have stickers with numbers on them that correspond with the following documents:

3. Monroe Doctrine
4. President Wilson’s First Inaugural Address
5. President Washington’s Farewell Address
6. The Emancipation Proclamation
7. The Northwest Ordinance
8. The Declaration of Independence
9. The Mayflower Compact
10. The United States Constitution- Articles I and II
11. Martin Luther King’s, “I Have a Dream Speech”
12. The United States Constitution- Articles III-VII
13. Instrument of Surrender in the Pacific
14. President Washington’s First Inaugural Address
15. The Gettysburg Address
16. President Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address
17. The Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution
18. President Franklin Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms Address to Congress

B. Provide a visual that accompanies the primary source either through a poster timeline, PowerPoint, or Prezi.
C. Also provide a synopsis of each document that illuminates the meaning and significance to history and/or government
D. Evaluate these and create a top 5 list of the most important documents. Give an explanation and rationale to why you chose these five over others. Persuade me that you are correct in your opinion.
