I really liked this book too. Still, it only made me hate the old man even more. I mean he knew how important the whole situation was to Alyosha, and, although everyone else was desperately trying to keep the peace, Mr. Karamazov just made an absolute mockery of everything that Alyosha holds in high regard. Even worse, while others were eating the meal with the Father Superior, Mr. Karamazov, who had promised not to show up, showed up and wrecked the meal as well. I truly hate this man!
why do you like the book? I would honestly like to know. The only reason im forcing myself to read it is because of the grade, but even that reason is starting to fail.
