Ok this book is getting to be more and more like a bad soap opera.  Dmitry is engaged to Katrina, but is starting to fall for Grushenka.  Fyodor likes her too.  I'm not surprised that he likes someone his son's age.  Afterall he did marry a sixteen year old.  Plus Ivan likes Katrina.  The book has mentioned a murder that will happen. Ratikin said Zosima kneeled in front of Dimitry because he thinks that he will be the one to kill his father.  Personally I'm kind of happy.  I really hate Fyodor and I wouldn't exactly mind if he wasn't in the book anymore.  I thought it was interesting when Ivan was talking about how church and government should not be seperated but I was surprised that he thought that.  Isn't he supposed to be an atheist?

Yes, he is an atheist. He is talking about mankind being deterred from committing a crime as now with the unification of church and state that same crime carries a double punishment. So, it is philosophical. Also, I noticed that you have not yet changed your e mail address on your profile. You need do to this so that your mail does not go to Mr. Phipps.
