1) Local Government: Stocking food and water as well as providing transportation.

State: To get aid from the National Government and to have had plans to execute during a series of different crisises.

National Government: Plans on how to handle a variety of problems for each state and to organize FEMA, and to help fill in the gaps the state misses.

2) They all did horribly, as all branches did not fufill all of their jobs due to lack of planning, an example being that the mayor did not ready transportation and things like that.

1)         What role did the National, State and Local Governments have in preventing, mitigating and reacting to Hurricane Katrina?

2)         Evaluate how each level of government performed its duties. Be specific and back up your points with facts and logic.
