I think Dostoevsky would appreciate our freedoms although he may think we have to many, seeing as he lived a long time ago and times have obviously changed. Smerdyakov, Grushenka, and Katrina seem to be pretty stupid. I liked this chapter because it wasn't quite as wordy and there was a lot going on. It's turning into a rather interesting book.
