Should the U.S. have intervened in Rwanda?

I think that the United States should not have intervened with rwanda, because i think we should not spend our resources and money that we dont have to help a country that we have little to no involvment in at the time being.

That is a good point, but it would help us have involvment with them in the future.

if we would have helped it would have made us look better not just there but in other countries as well adn then if we were in trouble other places could see that we are always willing to help so they will help us.

we wouldn't be using that many resources, all we would need is 5 soldiers with guns and body armor

I agree, we have a lot more technology and all they had was machetes. We could have easily stopped them without using a lot of resources.

By not going in we were just as responsible for all the innocent people being killed, like being an accessory to a crime for just knowing its happening and not doing anything about it. This people shouldnt of suffered because of their background and they shouldnt of had to die why we stood by and watched.
