I am soooosooooso sorry for this being so late.
I loved Zosima, and am really sad that he died. I thought he had a very interesting life and enjoyed reading about it. It was cool to see why he especially loved Alyosha, who reminded him of his late brother. I was shocked when the mysterious philanthropist came back the second time to Zosima's to kill him. Everything would have turned out so different had he followed through with the idea. I felt so bad when the monks were being so disrespectful after the death of Zosima. They went crazy over the fact that he had the odor of a dead person. I feel like they were a bit too excited for his death, just because they were waiting for a miracle.
