WELCOME TO MRS. KUCINSKI'S MOODLE PAGE FOR LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

In Sixth Grade Language and Literature students practice a variety of strategies to further develop their reading, writing and communication skills. Students practice close reading of narrative fiction, nonfiction and informational texts, and have frequent opportunities to develop their writing skills in these genres.  Students strengthen their communication and informal speaking skills through informal discussions and formal presentations of their learning. Students maintain a reading log to encourage a lifelong habit of reading.

Welcome to Mrs. Kucinski's Science Moodle!

The sixth grade social studies curriculum is a geography-based course that introduces students to the physical and human geography of the world. Students explore tools used to represent our physical world; examine patterns of natural and human environments; study global issues that affect the world's people; and study how governments and economies are organized; Students' growth is assessed through homework assignments, projects, essays, oral presentations, and other assessments.
