Even if you aren't a football fan, here is my point- Favre was like Rome that he was old and powerful but declined as he aged. He made poor moral decisions, was a target for defenses to take pot shots at him and got weaker as he got older. Rogers copied what was good about Favre and used him as a model, but has differences in his game and approach. In other words, he emulated what was good about Favre, but forged his own identity.
