What Dostoevsky would think of our freedoms

I think that he would probably think that we were taking some of them for granted and don't know what we have.  (Freedom of Speech and Press)  He might be a little jealous of those but on others he would probably want fewer restrictions.  Our government is clearly seperated from church and I can tell from the writing that he would rather have them together.  He probably wouldn't like the people of our society very much just because of how ungrateful and unforgiving we are.
