Once she found out her daughters were to marry everything seemed so cheerful and that it was all going to work out. Marriage was a way of seeing that your future will be prosperous. (is that a symbol?)Distinguishing characteristics of the workWork: I thought it was nice how well the movie seemed to take place in the 1800's, it was like going back in time. I like how the dialog and everything fits together so smoothly. I'm sure the book offers more insight and detail to the whole story. My Personal Response: I really liked this movie. It didn't seem like a movie that I would be assigned to watch, but something I would rent and watch any day. It was great, my favorite part was all the fancy dialog and accents. O yeah also their clothes and how they danced, it was so different. :D it's a good movie, I couldn't stop talking with an accent and I had a strong desire to keep saying exquisite and proposterous.
Interesting.... :D
