Personal Response : So I watched Moby Dick last Friday, I just didn't get a chance to make a reply on here yet.
Well, I thought that this movie would be a lot cooler then it actually was! I got really mad at this story. Its about a man named Ishmael who joins a whaling boat. Ahab is the captain of the Pequod, the only thing on his mind is to kill the great white whale, Moby Dick. Ahab really made me mad because he was willing to risk every man and his boat in order to kill the stupid whale who ate his leg. In the end he did exactly that, except kill Moby Dick. Queequeg was my favorite character in the movie because he's a great friend to Ishmael during the journey. He sadly died though at the end, Ishmael was the only man who survived the journey and thats how the story got out. I was really disappointed with this movie because I've always heard really good things about Moby Dick, and plus the actor from To Kill A Mockingbird was in it and I love that movie.
