The USA PATRIOT Act is a classic example of when big government oversteps its bounds. It is a pervasive act that invades the lives of Americans. If the government is overstepping the rights of its citizens, the end does not justify the mean. People will say "do you have anything to worry about if you've done nothing wrong?" and the answer is yes, people have a right to privacy and they don't need to be watched every step they take, and besides, how do you know that what you consider to not be wrong is also what they consider to not be wrong?
Agreed, I need my privacy
I agree, it would be so irritating to have your every move watched.
