U.S. Patriot Act

I agree with this act because when it comes to the government stepping up to create new laws to protect us from terrorism I see no harm in what they are doing. Many of the things they are doing are still the same as before any terrorist attacks happened. The only differences now are the process they may take or even the rules they have to follow have been modified and made much clearer to what they can or cannot do. Now investigators must obtain a warrant and that covers many aspects of their investigation. I personally feel as though things won't be that much different because their still doing all the same things better. I also agree because it protects the U.S. citizens. If the government looks at what people write on the internet or spy on their websites I think it's fair. It will most definitely stop more of the crimes going on and then more people will get in trouble for being terrorists. :)

I agree but i dont think the government should be able to see what you are going on on the internet they should have to have permission or a warrant.

I get what you're saying, but I'd rather have the governemnt tapping into my phone or computer than people die. They really only look at people's stuff when they have a suspicion anyways.
