Katrina and FEMA

1. The National, State, and Local government were not prepared for the hurricane. FEMA was focused on everyday disasters and responding to disasters that could've been handled by others. Nobody was fast enough to help.

2. The National government did not seem to try to prevent Hurricane Katrina.  When FEMA was sent, they didn't provide the proper help that was needed.   The State had plans ready if the local government failed.  The Local government should've been somewhat prepared for disasters to happen, but weren’t.

3. The Federal Government should be prepared for natural disasters to happen.  The large issues like hurricanes should be when the Federal government is contacted for help with funding and what not. Smaller issues should be left to the local and state government.

1. Not only were they unprepared but they also didnt have the resources. The local government did the most to me.

2 .FEMA was scared and they didnt know what to do. I feel like they were to afraid to admit it. The state obviously didnt have any plans becasue nothing went into effect and they state didnt get anything done. The local government were prepared but they could only do so much.

3. I agree, this would caause less confusion.
