I think that the U.S. government should be able to torture to get information. There has to be a little to it though, they cant just grab what a person who they think associates with terroists. They should have to know for sure that the person is involved with terroist activitie. Also the person who does the torturing should be able to control himself and not just want to hurt the person because of it.

If the person is in America, then they can't torture them because of the 8th amendment.

Yeah, i agree with that they should know for certain that the person is associated with terrorist not just any person.

That's pretty much the summation of my response. Aside from the last sentence. Although, I do agree, I think a government official could be so upset at this whole issue and just want to hurt the suspect instead of extracting information, even if they are innocent.
