I agree with the fact that we need to heighten security during wartime, however i do believe the government over steps boundaries during this peiod of time. It's a very touchy feely subject with a fine line to function along. Data mining is far too much, however extra security and random searches at the airport are justified. Any thoughts folks?

There need's to be some moderation to it, it basically avoids the need for a judge's warrant. So cops can do whatever they want.

i agree with the data mining is takling it to far. but we shouldnt have a problem, unless your up to no good. DARN TOOTIN!

but what if that "no good" is your source of income? just cause you know how to slang some kush or rock and be lowkey doesnt mean the government needs to be tapping your phone n junk. they need to worry about the bigger picture in these instances such as war or murderers

Drugs lead to murders.(not in all cases i know) So by limiting drug traffic, they could be inturn limiting murders.

they shouldnt be using phone tapping, as well as data mining resources against individual citizens of the U.S., thats overstepping boundaries by a long shot. whats grounds to say they shouldnt tap the whole countries phone?
