Oats clearly likes the author and the novel. She brings up the books use of religion and talks about its intricate plot line. She also talks about the way the novel develops which I'm guessing will make a lot more sense to me once I've actually finished reading the book. Although I personally thought this article was extremely boring and hard to read, Oats's love for the book and the author was evident.
good work. Oats is well known for her writing as well as her literary criticism.
