There would be covert operations to apprehend people creating & researching nuclear weapons in Iran. This benefits the U.K, as well as other countries, by keeping the people safe. This system relies on material accountability, physical security, containment & surveillance. Unintended consequences may include countries shutting down & not wanting to trade; if Iran has nuclear weapons prior to that of the troop’s arrival, they may launch them and leave millions harmed. However, the benefits out-weigh these potential risks because the chance of saving many lives is better than not doing anything at all.
