I dont agree with the invasive way that the government is doing all the spying on its citizens. But if thats what they have to do to protect us to the best of their abilities then I don't have a say in it. If you don't have anything to hide then you shouldn't have a problem with what the govenment is doing with everything. It is a huge invasion of privacy but they are protecting our lives.

you know when its happening, its happening right now, if you are not a terrorist, or in associating with any terrorism, then you have no reason to hide, because they probably will not even look at you, its not like they are going through the lives of millions of people individually, its a computer program that goes through all the data, they just collect it. :-P

Your privacy was already invded the goverment gets the informatin from private companies who already have it, I'd be worried about what else the private companies do with your information, Id rather have it in the goverments hands than the private sectors hands any day.

Sam, i agree with you. When you say you didn't have a say in it, would it have been different if the people voted on it?

I agree with you Sam. One Question.. When you say you don't have a say in the matter, would it have been different if the people could have voted on it?

It might have been but i believe that more people would have voted for security over privacy a limit of privacy anytime. A lot of people go by the motto better safe than sorry, and this is with your life.
