1. The Local government had the job of dealing with all of the people who were upset, out of homes and everything else. And the mayor had the job to stock the shelves with food and water, and to get the buses transported which he failed to do. The mayor also failed in have an emergency plan in order for a diaster like this. The State government was trying to get more national support, but got none. And the National government was doing nothing at all to help, all they did was hold conferences and constantly lie to the public.

2. The national government I feel did nothing at all to help out the victims who were homeless and helpless. But I believe that that State and Local governments made a small effort to do their jobs with the resources they had avaiable to them. I also think that the mayor did a horrible job, he did everything wrong and had no plan for this type of situation.

1)         What role did the National, State and Local Governments have in preventing, mitigating and reacting to Hurricane Katrina?

2)         Evaluate how each level of government performed its duties. Be specific and back up your points with facts and logic.

Good, but I need a bit more on the role of the federal government and more specifics about state/local.  8/10.
