Pretty much the major elemnents of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act are that Obama is trying to make more jobs and tax cuts by going green.

From Obama's prespective hes try to improve the lives of all the jobless Americans as well as trying to make the world a better place by going green. From the Republican's point it's a waste it's a waste of money trying ot go green and will just pull this Recession we're in, to a Depression.

I have mixed feelings about the bill, I can see the ups and downs. It's good that Obama is trying to make jobs but the technique he is using by trying to go green is a HUGE waste of money.

I agree with everything you say.  He is trying to make it a better place to live with jobs and what not but with going green it's a waste of money when that money can go to a better cause.  Then again going green can help with much more from cars to having clean air to breath.

1)  Describe the major elements of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. (3 pts.)

2)  From President Obama's point of view, how is this act providing positive change?  From the Republican Party's point of view, how does the act provide negative change? (3 pts.)

3) Explain your opinion on the issue.  Be sure to back up your points with logic and fact (from the article or elsewhere.)

Grade: 8/9.  Good, but be sure to address more specifics about the ARR Act.
