Book 9
In book 9, the prosecutor was interrogating Dmitry. Dmitry told his whole story and even revealed some secrets, like where he got the money from. I feel bad for him though, because I don't think anything he says will convince the prosecutors that he is innocent, even though I think he is. I don't think Dmitry seems like the person that would come up with that complicated of a lie in order to cover up a crime he committed-- I mean he quickly admitted to hitting Greogry and that he thought he had killed him. Dmitry pretty much convicted himself, especially because he kept saying he had 3000 rubles instead of 1500. I think the real killer was Smerdyakov, because in the last few books it seemed like he wanted something to happen to Fyodor (in his conversation with Ivan) and he was the only person who knew about the money and the secret knocks.
Book 10
Nothing really happened in Book 10, except that we found out Ilyusha is dying. It basically described the relationship between Ilyusha and the other boys. Ilyusha thought he was dying because he was being punished for feeding a dog a pin. A boy Koyla brought the dog that Ilyusha thought he had killed and Ilyusha was happy.
