So I didn't spend too much time on these books.
Like I wasn't analyzing every sentence.
Actually, I had trouble focusing altogether, haha.

But, it really stinks for Dmitri. All evidence points to him being the murderer, but I know he didn't do it. Ha, watch it be Alyosha or something. How unsuspecting.

And, sorry, but chapter 10 was utterly boring. I actually don't remember much of it...I practically just skimmed through it.

So, any thoughts as to who YOU think is the real killer?!?

I think the killer is Smerkyadov.  It seems kind of obvious, like that's who the author wants you to think it is, but I still think he was the murderer.  He's really odd and seemed to want Fyodor dead.  I think he wanted everyone out of the way so Dmitry could kill him (because Dmitry already has hit Fyodor before), but I think when Dmitry didn't end up killing Fyodor, Smerkydov finished the job.

That would suck if Alyosha was the killer. I mean I really like him. Still, I don't think he is. I think it IS Smerdyakov. I mean like Marlene said he seemed to hate Fyodor.
