I liked book 2 a lot. It actually made me laugh quite a bit, because Fyodor is so ridiculous. I would be so unbelievably embarassed if he was my father. I love the elder Zosima, because he is so forgiving and caring, yet blunt and to the point. This book made me dislike Miusov even more, because he feels the strongest need to prove how smart he is ALL THE TIME. I noticed the Dostoevsky references death and murder a lot in this one. I guess you would say that's foreshadowing??
