    What is BPA?

We are a national co-curricular career and technical organization for high school and college students preparing for careers in business and information technology.

BPA has more than 51,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states, and we are growing.

The Workplace Skills Assessment Program (WSAP) prepares students to succeed and assess real-world business skills and problem solving abilities in finance, management, IT, computer applications, and marketing.

Our competition is January 6 at Henry Ford Community College.  See Mrs. Bargerstock for more information.

You must meet with Mrs. B. at least once a week to work on your event.  The Style Guide must be followed for all events requiring any form of computer work.  Word Defaults must be changed and you must print out copies of old tests from the HS Public Folder under BPA Events.

Old Open Events are also in there to study.  You are required to do at least 3 Open Events at Regionals.

    Open Events:

Administrative Support Concepts, Business Spelling, Financial Math & Analysis, Insurance Concepts, Management/Marketing/Human Resources Concepts, and Merit Scholar

You can find these tests under each main heading as usually the last item in that group.  I have both the old tests and answer keys.

If your WSAP Guideline tells you to include a signed statement of originality, the links are below.  You must finish filling them in and save them into your file.  Then print so we can both sign them.
