Welcome to the Spinoza Program: A Modular and Topical Approach to Secular Humanistic Education

The Birmingham Temple Congregation for Humanistic Judaism is proud to present a new Sunday morning educational program named for that great Jewish role model of critical thinking, Baruch "Benedict" Spinoza. Our new program remains committed to the objective of connecting children to the cultural and historical heritage of Judaism within a framework that values critical thinking. At the same time, the Spinoza Program is designed to meet the needs and busy schedules of our families.

Each Sunday morning we will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Birmingham Temple, located at 28611 Twelve Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334 with bagels and an assembly for the children and families. Following this, the children will break into their learning groups. Each year the groups will be experience two topical modules of Jewish Learning, one in the fall and one in the spring, for about an hour each Sunday morning.
