This is an introductory course in architectural drafting designed to meet the needs of the college-bound student, technical education student, and homeowner. Students will research building codes and drafting standards necessary to develop residential floor plans and elevations. Students will receive training in manual drafting as well as computer-aided design. Students will compile their work into a portfolio to be used as a showcase for colleges and technical academies.
