This course introduces students to classical and contemporary painting, techniques and concepts. There will be an emphasis on encouraging individuality and creativity as well as the understanding of vocabulary and the fundamentals of artistic expression. Various painting styles and mediums will be explored. We will be painting from still-life, landscape, and life models from observation.
