This course stresses the major concepts of science, giving the student a basic scientific understanding
of his/her world. Some of the units of study will deal with cell structure, growth and
reproduction, heredity and genetics, plants and animals, microbiology, evolution, homeostasis,
ecology, and the scientific method of inquiry.
