Integrated math is a course designed to be taken after Geometry to prepare students for the rigors of the Algebra II curriculum. The class will focus on mathematical practices outlined in the common core curriculum including: make sense of problems and persevere in solving them, reason abstractly and quantitatively, construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others, model with mathematics, use appropriate tools strategically, attend to
precision, look for and make use of structure, and look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning. Students will use these practices with linear and quadratic equations and inequalities in one variable, systems of equations, functions, graphs of linear, quadratic, and higher powered functions, and constructing linear, quadratic, and exponential models.
