The third-year American Sign Language course continues the development of linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness begun in the first two years of ASL study. Introducing new vocabulary and more complex grammatical structures will increase comprehension. This will allow students to express themselves in a wider variety of situations and with a greater degree of accuracy. Opportunities to observe/interact with native ASL users will be provided.
